Resupply Storage & Pickup for Thru Hikers

Parchers Resort is an ideal resupply location for hikers taking on the challenges of the John Muir Trail (JMT), the Pacific Crest Trail, (PCT) or the Sierra High Route. For a $30 storage fee (paid upon pickup), Parchers Resort will store your resupply package for up to 30 days so hikers with even the most adventurous itinerary can get the items they need before getting back on the trail. Our store is open seven days a week from 6:30am to 6pm so picking up your package is convenient.
All packages must be delivered by UPS or FedEx or dropped off in person!
(USPS does NOT deliver to the camp)

Sealed buckets are preferred but boxes are accepted.

All packages should be clearly labeled in bold marker - "Hold for thru Hiker" with the hiker's name and approximate date of arrival on the outside of the package. Ship UPS or Fedex to:

Transportation to North Lake or city of Bishop

With minimum two days' notice, we are often able to help connect you to rides to the North Lake trailhead/parking lot, or to locations in Bishop. Call for availability and rates.

Public Showers​

​$6.00 6:30am-6pm
Any backpacker or camper can appreciate a good hot shower after a few days or weeks in the wilderness. Parchers Resort has public showers available onsite. Six dollars gets you 10 minutes of hot water to wash away the dust accumulated on the trail. Our showers are open seven days a week, token available to purchase from 6:30 am until 6 pm. The Parchers Camp Store is also stocked with all the basic toiletries in travel sizes so you don't have to lug them along.

Trailhead Shuttles

Parchers can sometimes arrange shuttles to and from North Lake or Bishop; call us to inquire. If we're not able to accomodate, or for longer trips, there are many local companies. visit this link or try one of those listed below.
