South Lake Landing

Nestled in California's Eastern Sierra region, the
majestic 170 acre South Lake is extraordinarily
scenic. Well stocked weekly with Rainbow Trout, South Lake
also has a variety of wild Brown, Brook, and
Rainbow trout providing spectacular fishing opportunities
for both the conventional and fly fisher. Trophy trout
weighing upwards of 10lbs are also stocked periodically
during the summer months. South Lake
Boat Landing is located in the Inyo National Forest and
features a store stocked with tackle, snacks, beverages,
and clothing. Our friendly staff can help you with
renting a fishing boat and outfitting you with the tackle
necessary to hook into one of the big ones.
South Lake
is an easy 22 miles west of Bishop, CA sitting at 9,768 feet
of elevation.
