Parchers Resort is an ideal location for hikers taking on the challenges of the John Muir Trail or the Pacific Crest Trail to resupply. For a $10 storage fee, Parchers Resort will store your resupply package for up to three months so hikers with even the most adventurous itinerary can get the items they need to stock up on before getting back on the trail. Our store is  open seven days a week from  8am to at least 5pm so picking up your package is convenient.

Something that is very hard to find these days is a place where a backpacker can stay for a single night, let alone when that place is only one mile from a trailhead! Parchers Resort's Hiker Cabins are the perfect solution for Backpackers looking to acclimate before heading off into the wilderness. Parchers also happens to be an ideal place for those wanting affordable lodging while they resupply for a thru Hike. A comfortable bed, a hot shower and a good night's sleep in a real mattress can do wonders for one's energy level! Parchers Resort is so dedicated to backcountry enthusiasts that we actually have a two night maximum with no minimum stay on these cabins during the peak hiking months of July and August. Any backpacker can appreciate a good hot shower after a few days or weeks in the wilderness. Parchers Resort has public showers available onsite. Five dollars gets you 10 minutes of hot water to wash away the dust accumulated on the trail. Our showers are open seven days a week from 8am until close. The Parchers Camp Store is also stocked with all the basic toiletries in travel sizes so you don't have to lug them along.

Comfort Food

            We serve breakfast & lunch until 1pm Wednesday through Sunday. If that doesn't work into your hiking schedule that's ok because we also serve hot Chili or Soup with fresh bread until close 7 days a week.  Parchers Resort will fill you up right! We also offer a 10% discount on meals if you show your server your backpack....can't beat that!

          Need to contact your family or friends when you get out of the backcountry? Parchers Resort has the closest public payphone to the Bishop Pass Trailhead. We also stock phone cards in our store so you don't have to carry change along on you trip.
